I’m half way through a book called ‘Nausea’ by Jean Paul Satre – the existentialist philosopher.   It revolves around a historian’s idea that tangible objects can prevent or keep you from defining yourself.  For me personally, its a bit of a heavy read and I am not sure i’ll continue with it, but I did have a look a some of Satre’s quotes and really liked a few…
